Shares its 160 km/h track with the KLIA Ekspres, the premium non-stop service that runs KL Sentral to KLIA T1 in about 28 minutes (T2 about 33 minutes) skipping all intermediate stations. KLIA Transit opened 20 June 2002; the 2.14 km extension to KLIA T2 (then klia2) opened 1 May 2014, bringing the route to about 59 km.
