About the KL Monorail simulator

This is a free, interactive simulator of the KL Monorail (MR), operated by Rapid Rail (Prasarana) in Greater Kuala Lumpur / the Klang Valley, Malaysia. The line runs 8.6 km across 11 stations from KL Sentral to Titiwangsa. An 8.6 km fully elevated straddle-beam monorail (light green Line 8) threading from the KL Sentral transport hub through the Bukit Bintang shopping district and along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman to Titiwangsa. Opened in 2003, it is the only monorail line in the Klang Valley network.

What the simulator shows

Trains move along the line on a live map, following the time of day with an adjustable speed and a draggable timeline. Service ramps up from the depots at 06:00 towards a 7-minute peak headway (12 minutes off-peak), using Scomi SUTRA trains. Stations show live platform crowding, and passenger demand follows realistic morning and evening peaks scaled to about 58,000 weekday boardings.
