About the MRT Putrajaya Line simulator

This is a free, interactive simulator of the MRT Putrajaya Line (MRT 2), operated by Rapid Rail (Prasarana) in Greater Kuala Lumpur / the Klang Valley, Malaysia. The line runs 57.7 km across 36 stations from Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya Sentral. KL's second MRT line (MRT 2, yellow), linking Kwasa Damansara and Sungai Buloh through Kepong and Sentul into a deep underground city-centre stretch (Titiwangsa to Chan Sow Lin, serving KLCC and TRX), then south via Serdang and Cyberjaya to Putrajaya Sentral. Phase 1 opened in June 2022, with the full line operational from March 2023.

What the simulator shows

Trains move along the line on a live map, following the time of day with an adjustable speed and a draggable timeline. Service ramps up from the depots at 06:00 towards a 4-minute peak headway (8 minutes off-peak), using Hyundai Rotem EMU (HAP Consortium) trains. Stations show live platform crowding, and passenger demand follows realistic morning and evening peaks scaled to about 185,000 weekday boardings.
