About the LRT Sri Petaling Line simulator

This is a free, interactive simulator of the LRT Sri Petaling Line (LRT 1), operated by Rapid Rail (Prasarana) in Greater Kuala Lumpur / the Klang Valley, Malaysia. The line runs 37.1 km across 29 stations from Sentul Timur to Putra Heights. The maroon line runs from Sentul Timur through central Kuala Lumpur to Chan Sow Lin, then branches south through Bandar Tasik Selatan, Bukit Jalil and Puchong to Putra Heights, where it meets the Kelana Jaya Line. It shares its Sentul Timur–Chan Sow Lin trunk with the Ampang Line; the Puchong extension to Putra Heights was completed in 2016.

What the simulator shows

Trains move along the line on a live map, following the time of day with an adjustable speed and a draggable timeline. Service ramps up from the depots at 06:00 towards a 6-minute peak headway (10 minutes off-peak), using CSR Zhuzhou AMY trains. Stations show live platform crowding, and passenger demand follows realistic morning and evening peaks scaled to about 134,000 weekday boardings.
